St Kilda Football Club’s Statement on Ahmed Saad

The St Kilda Football Club is aware of media claims that Ahmed Saad delivered an irregular sample in the past month.

St Kilda will not be commenting on this issue except to ask the media to respect the presumption of innocence and to refrain from speculating about this issue.

We hope the media and public give this the same level of apathy they gave the Melbourne Football Club regarding their drug accusations. That’s just been crazy, how no one cares about that at all just because they are beyond hopeless.

For us, this isn’t even the number one crisis at our club, it’s probably number two but we’d have to check the database. That will take a few days.

You can therefore understand why we’re not that excited about it.

Really, unbridled speculation about any ASADA investigation is just wrong.

It’s not like we’re the Essendon Football Club. I mean wow! We’re sure all that stuff about them in the papers is true.

The ‘black ops’, James Hird being a Bond villain and the sacrificing babies for their blood is something the media should be pursuing.

We’ve heard that Essendon has some players on its list that are made in a laboratory using stem cells, raccoons blood and the DNA of former Danihers.

There’s also got to be something in those claims about Collingwood, Hawthorn and West Coast hasn’t there? Well worth digging into that a bit more media.

Anyway, nothing to see here at the St Kilda Football Club and speculating about these things just demeans us all.

For any further media enquiries please contact the Essendon Football Club or James Hird’s media guy.
