Just think if we hadn’t done all that Federal Court stuff we could have won this thing years ago.

This is a victory for the irrational believers.

A day that will go down in history as a triumph of shoddy record keeping over bumbling bureaucracy.

Unfortunately, ASADA’s CEO Ben McDevitt hasn’t rung me yet to concede defeat but James reckons that only happens in politics.

Still, would have been nice.

Speaking of James, I’m so glad the board has pretended we’ve want him all along, it makes it less awkward around the office now.

To the fans, you have been more delusional than I could have ever hoped.

It’s been ‘Elvis is still alive stuff’ from you guys and while at times it’s been scary, I appreciate it.

You’re all a credit to any faith based organisation, which is basically what a footy club is.

I’d also like to acknowledge the kind words and strong support we’ve received from other clubs and their supporters.

That’s the great thing about footy, when another club is down we don’t all stick the boot in, we offer positive words of encouragement.

That’s why I’d now like to offer my full support to those drug cheats at Collingwood and Fremantle.

I can’t imagine what you’re going through but it must be terrible.

To the media, you've been restrained, fair and above all accurate. You're all a credit to your fine industry.

Lastly, to me.

You’ve steadied the ship Paul through some pretty big storms and a lesser skipper would have cut and run.
