Dear fans of Australian Sport

I'd like to begin by making a promise to you all.

Every week day between 9am and 4:37pm I will attend the offices of ASADA as CEO

I'll grab some coffee, do some emails and then go to a series of meetings, each more pointless and soul destroying than the previous. If there’s time, I may get to peruse the newspapers over morning tea.

Let me be clear, I will make phone calls.

I'll probably call my wife mid-afternoon to check in, see how everything is going. Communication is the very foundation upon which a great relationship is built.

In the afternoon, I'll try and get some reading done but I expect they'll be a series of interruptions about fairly trivial matters.

As you can see, I've got my work cut out for me here but I will not waiver from ensuring ASADA does the things that it’s meant to be doing. Whatever those things are, I’m very interested in having a go.

This is going to be a lot of fun.
