The Greater Western Sydney Giants would be delighted if you would consider joining our club in the 2014 AFL Season.

While we don’t have the tradition and supporter base of many AFL clubs, we more than make up for that with young talent, a great new stadium and the ability to offer you an enormous amount of cash.

How much cash? A spellbindingly stupid amount. So much you should sit down before continuing. Actually, lie down.

$10 Million over five years. Not ten dollars, $10 million. $10 MILLION!!!!!!!!

Sounds pretty good, right? Who are we kidding? It sounds ridiculously, spectacularly amazing. It’s probably the best thing you’ve heard in your entire life.

There are not many jobs that pay $2 million a year to someone who is just 26 years old. Maybe my favorite artist Justin Bieber or one of those kids in those great Twilight films would get it but that would be it. Maybe someone in mining? Not sure.

Anyway, I’m still reeling from the fact I can even offer you this sort of money! I mean I’ve got so much young talent up here, I don’t even really need this years number one draft pick.

I’ve even given a player to the bloody Wallabies! He’s already one of their best players already. In two tests he’s had more possessions than in two whole seasons with us.

This week, I’ve even been telling the media I wanted to give away more draft picks in previous years. It’s pure complaint bragging but it’s fun.

But back to you Lance. The Greater Western Sydney area is a great place to live. There are people and the Blue Mountains and heaps of other stuff.

I’m not the best tour guide myself as I’m from Melbourne and like most people base my opinions of Western Sydney on occasional snippets in the news and Eddie McGuire sledges.

But I am sure that, your millions and millions of dollars would be very welcome at Westfield Penrith, Westfield Parramatta, Westfield Liverpool and Westpoint Blacktown.

$10 million dollars can also buy you a pretty decent house in Western Sydney I’m told. Get one of those cinema rooms they always show in Harvey Norman ads.

Our stadium is very modern and fits dozens of fans, although we obviously don’t fill it yet. Your arrival however should see attendances spike into triple figures, which would tick off one of my KPIs.

Anyway, great culture, great area, great people, all that stuff but more importantly, I can’t emphasis enough the $10 million. It’s a really large amount of money and it’s all yours for five years work.
