With Christmas less than a month away, what do you get the AFL fan that has everything?
It may seem hard but here are a few suggestions for each team that should make it easy.
A Football Operations manager
Make a Collingwood fan’s dreams come true with a General Manager Football Operations. Not only is it a great present, you can get them a new one pretty much every single year.
Karl Marx’s Das Capital
Now that Port Adelaide fans need to understand China; this is the perfect introduction to that country’s political ideology. Giving a Power supporter a book is also pretty funny.
A Ross Lyon Tweet
These things are rarer than Fremantle wins. Hand crafted by Ross Lyon, they are sure to make any Fremantle fan feel the Christmas spirit. Or sadness. They’re sought of the same, right?
Coping with Grief by Diane McKissock and Mal McKissock
This book is perfect for the Hawks fan in your life who is still coming to terms with not winning the premiership.
A board game
Richmond fans love these.
Patrick Cripps
What do Adelaide fans love more than almost anything else? A player from Carlton. This may not be as easy a gift to get as it once was but still worth trying.
Every 2016 Geelong Advertiser Patrick Dangerfield front cover
Yes, get all 347 of them framed for your Cats friends.
A ban on trading
Swans fan got one of these for Christmas a few years ago and if I remember correctly, they loved it.
The Paul Roos’ Years DVD
Demon fans will love this eight DVD set featuring both highlights from the Paul Roos era. That’s right, it’s their win over Hawthorn in Round 20 this year and their victory over the Cats in Round 12, 2015. The rest of the DVD’s are slow motion vision of Paul Roos smiling, his hair tussled by a gentle breeze, set to the music of Kenny G.
Fringe GWS player
From afar, I’ve noticed that Carlton fans love these. Can only go over well and there’s usually heaps to choose from.
Relevance
Give the gift Gold Coast Suns fans truly want this Christmas.
2017 Grand Final DVD
Just go ahead and order it now for Giants supporters. Perfect gift for AFL executives too.
Brendon Goddard’s Essendon highlights DVD
Give Saints fans a laugh this Christmas.
Luke Beveridge/Bob Murphy’s premiership medallion
You’ll need to break into the Bulldogs’ museum to get it but every Doggies fans would be thrilled with this unique gift. They can also return the next day it if they don’t want it.
A refund on the second half of the season
North Melbourne fans not only want it this Christmas, they deserve it. If it’s too steep a price, get them some of that Boomer 427 merchandise, I’m sure there’s heaps lying around.
A time machine
The perfect gift for any Essendon supporter. They can go back and stop Stephen Dank ever coming to the club or if they’re one of those weak Bombers supporters who hasn’t kept the faith, stop Hird being appointed coach. Or they could just go back to the Kevin Sheedy era and live there.
A Priority Pick
Sure, the AFL already gave them one but like bottles of whiskey, Lions fans will always appreciate another.
Drew Petrie Jumper
That would actually be pretty funny to actually get an Eagles fan one.

As a Demon, I would really like silence. Or that kind of semi-silence that teachers love, where a class is just quietly murmuring because they are focused on their work. I would actually settle for a recording of two unstable washing machines scraping against eachother. Just no more 'everything is awesome' chorus line, that's all I need.

So much enjoyed your suggestions for footy fans Christmas presents. Actually as a Roo supporter all I want for Christmas is a really gorgeous ruckman (of my very own!) Merry Christmas Titus.
