AFL Appeals Board releases Jack Viney Judgment

The AFL Appeals Board, with all the powers vested in it under the Constitution of Australia, rules this appeal is upheld.

In the fourteen minutes we deliberated, we mainly talked about the safety of our families and the hospital handball both the Match Review Panel and the Tribunal had sent our way.

What were they thinking? While this is unusual for an appeals board to say, someone was on some serious drugs making those rulings.

Let’s be honest, this whole case is crackers, to use a legal term.

The Tribunal’s decision was the worst thing we’ve ever read and two of us had read ’50 Shades of Gray’.

To dismiss this appeal, would have ended football forever and tore our society apart. Literally.

So while we were back there, we said straight away, ‘how long should we wait before going out there and upholding the hell out of this thing?’

It’s clear to this appeal board that football is a game where people are going to run into each other, at full speed.

There’s no ‘pirouetting’, no fancy Italian dance moves like that.

We must also remember there is no slow motion on the football field. Slow motion is modern day witchcraft and will eventually destroy us all.

So run free Jack Viney, run free.

When you all leave this place, remember, sanity prevailed and football has been saved.
